About Babette Godefroy
I'm a Yoga Alliance registered advanced trained and experienced yoga teacher (E-RYT 500), with five years of full-time New York City teaching experience. I completed my 2.5 year/ 850-hour Yoga Therapy program in 2023 and became a certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT). I'm also a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) certified personal trainer.
I experience yoga as an opportunity to have a truly intimate conversation with oneself - learning patience, dedication, non-judgement, detachment and acceptance each time we meet the mat. I have a great passion for flowing through fun and challenging yoga sequences, invigorating both body and mind. I offer energetic (Vinyasa) classes that emphasize fluid movement and traditional Namaskar variations, bringing about a modern twist to an ancient practice. I'm committed to creating a practice during which you can challenge yourself, yet allowing space for you to meet your body and mind where serves you best.
